Bid Desk Lead
Simplex Services (https://simplex-services.com/), UK headquartered with entities in UK, USA, Poland and India is looking to grow its Business Development team to win business for its Cloud and Infrastructure Services across Europe and North America. To support our growth, we are looking for a team player to join the Bid Management team to support the Sales process. The candidate will be responsible for producing professionally written proposal content that clearly articulates the organisations value proposition and meet customer requirements. This is a networked role that requires an ability to work under pressure meeting internal and external deadlines by liaising with internal and external stakeholders as applicable in the creation of bid responses. Simplex Services is growing rapidly and acts like a small start-up for every opportunity. This role is perfect for someone specifically seeking a smaller environment where their potential will be maximised through the challenging projects that the company undertakes.

Main Responsibilities:
Work closely with the UK team in supporting the bids, proposals and pro-actively working on preparing artefacts to improve the response time and win ratio.
General
- Provide end-to-end support throughout the bid lifecycle, including proposal management and advice, presentation coaching and obtaining client feedback.
- Develop relevant propositions and creation of bid responses, ensuring accurate, detailed, well written content is submitted.
- Take responsibility for the production and submission of bids, ensuring they meet all relevant specifications and are in line with the most recent research available and best practice.
- Ensure successful and timely delivery of the proposals.
- Assist with the contribution to and maintenance of the Tender Repository, Public sector frameworks and Pipeline in an orderly fashion.
- Meet required deadlines – both internal and external.
- Respond to opportunities from existing clients to reflect our status as a trusted partner showcasing the understanding of their business and maximise our chance of winning.
- Continuously improve on the levels of quality, creativity, impact, content and brand alignment of our proposals.
- Ensure that all relevant information is available and accessible to the rest of the business.
Experience:
- Possess 3 to 6 years relevant work experience.

- Advanced user in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
Writing skills:
- Structure and edit proposals with a specific focus on articulating a persuasive proposal and aligning it to customer requirements.
- Ensure proposals submitted reflect our beliefs and differentiators.
- Thorough understanding of how proposals should be structured with value messages included throughout and tailoring to ensure a customised feel to every solution.
- Writing coherent, concise, accurate and compelling copy around our core proposition in response to ITT/RFPs and other solicited and unsolicited bid opportunities as required, including those with partner organisations.
- Copying, collating and other support activities as needed to support the Bid Management and the Tender/ Bid process, against agreed tender deadlines, escalating issues as required.
- Proof reading and editing bids, re-working existing pre-written content where relevant.
- Re-write / edit proposal responses from a variety of stakeholders, typically involving contributions from Technical, Finance, Legal and Operations/Delivery teams.
