Senior DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer

Role Summary

We are looking for a talented Senior DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer to play a key role in shaping scalable cloud platforms, modern deployment pipelines, and resilient infrastructure. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on engineer who enjoys solving complex platform challenges, driving automation, and contributing to enterprise-grade transformation initiatives.

In this role, you will work closely with engineering, operations, architecture, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, high-performing, and highly available infrastructure solutions. You will have the opportunity to influence platform standards, improve release efficiency, and make a visible impact on reliability, delivery speed, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments
Deploy, manage, and optimise cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP environments
Lead platform deployment activities including networking, access provisioning, and foundational infrastructure setup
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code best practices
Manage containerised workloads using Docker and Kubernetes in scalable and secure environments
Implement monitoring, observability, backup, resilience, and disaster recovery capabilities
Troubleshoot infrastructure, cloud, and deployment issues and drive timely root-cause resolution
Partner with development and architecture teams to improve release processes, deployment standards, and operational efficiency
Embed security-first design principles and compliance best practices into infrastructure and deployment workflows
Manage source control, branching strategies, and release governance using Git-based workflows
Support Agile and Scrum delivery models and contribute to continuous improvement across engineering teams
Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, deployment standards, and operational procedures
Work effectively across multiple priorities in a fast-paced, delivery-driven environment

What We’re Looking For

Strong hands-on experience with Linux/Unix administration and command-line based environments
Solid expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code practices for consistent and scalable provisioning
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI
Strong working knowledge of one or more cloud platforms, including Azure, AWS, or GCP
Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production or enterprise environments
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across cloud, deployment, and infrastructure platforms
Experience with scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash, shell scripting, YAML, or similar tools
Understanding of Git, version control practices, and branching strategies
Good knowledge of networking, security, scalability, and infrastructure fundamentals
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams

Preferred / Nice to Have

Experience with Configuration-as-Code tools such as Ansible
Exposure to DevSecOps practices and secure engineering pipelines
Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog
Exposure to microservices architecture and high-availability platforms
Knowledge of Python, TypeScript, or .NET (C#)
Experience designing scalable enterprise-grade infrastructure solutions

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
