End User Engineer

We are seeking a skilled End User Engineer to provide technical support, manage end-user devices, and ensure seamless IT operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, hands-on experience with end-user technologies, and a proactive approach to IT support.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical support for end-user devices, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues efficiently.
Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and security updates.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls in accordance with IT policies.
Support Microsoft Office 365, Windows, and other enterprise applications.
Collaborate with the IT team to implement system upgrades and migrations.
Ensure compliance with IT security protocols and data protection regulations.
Maintain accurate documentation of technical issues, solutions, and procedures.
Provide remote and on-site support as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
4+ years of experience in end-user support or IT helpdesk roles.
Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Office 365, Active Directory, and networking fundamentals.
Experience with hardware troubleshooting, software installations, and remote support tools.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), ITIL, etc.
Experience with IT asset management and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
Knowledge of cloud technologies and virtualisation tools.
