Role and Responsibilities:
- Explain and advise employees on company policies, benefits, procedures, equal employment, and sexual harassment matters; recommend changes where needed.
- Administer compensation, benefits, and performance management systems.
- Process, verify, and maintain personnel-related documents, including staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, classifications, and employee leave of absence.
- Analyse and modify compensation and benefits policies to ensure competitive programmes and compliance.
- Record and maintain employee data such as addresses, earnings, absences, performance reports, and employment status changes.
- Manage challenging staffing duties, including handling understaffing, resolving disputes, employee terminations, and disciplinary procedures.
- Conduct new employee orientation to foster a positive organisational culture.
- Gather and manage personnel records from various departments.
- Prepare reports and documentation related to personnel activities.
- Coordinate job postings and notify eligible employees of available positions.
- Address employee enquiries regarding examinations, eligibility, salaries, and benefits.
- Review employee files to provide information for personnel actions.
- Act as a liaison between management and employees to resolve work-related issues and administer contracts.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field.
- Strong listening, motivational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to assess employee reactions, apply logical reasoning, and resolve conflicts effectively.
