Apprentice: IT Infrastructure Technician
This apprenticeship will provide training in areas such as:
- Functional skills, Math L2 and English L2
- PC Fundamentals
- Business Processes & Customer Services
- Networking & Architecture
- Mobile & Operating Systems
- Cloud Services
- Coding & Logic
Candidate to provide technical support to employees using the company’s network, covering the entire IT infrastructure of on-premise and cloud systems.
Must have:
- 5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English Language and Math)
- Knowledge of installation, configuration and deployment of computers, laptops and mobiles
- User account management skills on various IT systems including Active Directory
- Knowledge of wireless Network System, database systems Support and maintenance
- Experience in IT asset inventory maintenance
- Ability to manage and support Cloud based systems i.e. Office 365 and the company’s sector specific cloud applications
- Basic knowledge of IT hardware upgrades/repairs and performing backups and restoration of data when required
- Skills to deal with external suppliers/support contracts to assist with supporting the company’s employees
